Portsmouth City Teaching PCT bus ticket advertising campaign

Talking Change is being advertising on bus tickets in Portsmouth for one month from 23 November,

A new NHS talking therapy service for people with mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety in Portsmouth is being officially launched on 2 December.

This is Collaboration between Portsmouth City Teaching Primary Care Trust and Portsmouth City Council; Talking Change offers help for a range of common mental health problems such as anxiety and panic, depression, obsessive/compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. 

The service is available to anyone over the age of 18 years registered with a Portsmouth GP who is experiencing any of these feelings and who is not currently using adult mental health services.

Thanet Domestic Abuse Forum – bus ticket campaign

The Thanet Domestic Abuse Forum is launching its bus ticket campaign as part of a wider drive to encourage people to report domestic abuse this summer. The Domestic abuse co-ordinator has stated the following;

‘We have chosen the method of bus tickets as we feel that it provides people with the opportunity to carry essential information discreetly and safely until they are able to approach our services. We hope to be able to reach more people than ever before and ensure that the residents of Thanet have a safer summer, free from abuse, fear and violence.’
