Burger King have once again opted to use bus ticket advertising to promote its latest offer in the Norwich area. They have turned the ticket into the equivalent of a voucher by asking people to hand it in to receive a free drink or fries when they purchase an adult sandwich.
Burger King Chester is using our media to encourage footfall to their store. The high circulation available means that the ticket will be put into the hands of bus passenger’s in Chester, during the distribution period, and as the ticket has to be surrendered at the point of sale to qualify for the offer, the store will have a very clear idea of the vouchers redeemed and therefore the success of the campaign. Many of our clients have been pleasantly surprised at the level of response and this is something we attribute to the formats eye-catching creative’s and the fact that the advert is handed to the passenger as they board the bus, just before an average downtime of 17 minutes allowing plenty of time for the advert to be noticed.
