Continuing our successful relationship with the marketing department at Domino’s Pizza head office, today sees the launch of a bus ticket campaign on behalf of the nine Leeds restaurants. Bus ticket advertising has become the media of choice for several quick service restaurant operations, as they tend to have multiple sites in the city or town targeted and once the cost is split between the participants in the campaign, the format proves to be exceptionally cost effective. In addition, conducting a campaign on behalf of several franchises in the same city means that the recipient of the redemption voucher is always likely to be near a participating restaurant increasing the footfall in outlets and ensuring high levels of redemption

This week sees the second burst of bus ticket advertising on behalf of Domino’s Pizza Shrewsbury franchise. The campaign was commissioned by head office as they are interested in the broad spectrum of potential customers that we can reach on their behalf as well as the accountability offered by our media. We ran a campaign on behalf of another large Pizza business in 2009 and the market research that was carried out  stated that 60% of respondents confirmed that bus ticket advertising based promotion made it more likely that they would visit the restaurant advertised.

Starcom MediaVest joins with Ticketmedia in evaluated Pizza Hut advertising campaign

Media agency Starcom MediaVest has appointed Ticketmedia to run a promotional bus-ticket advertising campaign for Pizza Hut on all bus routes in 21 of the UK’s cities. The campaign will run for one week, after which time, independent research will study the effectiveness of this advertising medium in conveying its message to its target audience and resultant upturn in sales.

The eye-catching, full-colour, branded advert will appear on the back of the bus ticket, promoting Pizza Hut’s ‘Dining for £4′ offer whilst simultaneously reinforcing the positioning of the Pizza Hut brand in the casual dining sector.

Ticketmedia, the UK’s only bus ticket advertising company, has worked with the UK’s leading media agencies on integrated marketing campaigns and stand alone promotions. Bored minds are hungry for stimulation and so the first thing they are likely to focus on is the ticket in their hand. Importantly for the advertiser, the rate of recall of the message has been put as high as 70% because consumers regard the ticket as their personal property and therefore retain it.
